The AprilAire E070 Stops Moisture Before It Damages Your Home

For most crawl spaces, the goal is to keep relative humidity around 50% to 60%. When humidity stays above that range for long periods, the risk of mold, mildew, musty odors, wood rot, and insulation damage increases. It includes a 10 ft drain tube and a 3/4" threaded (MNPT) drain connection, and a patented backflow drain insert means no P-trap is required. Water can drain to a sump basin, condensate pump, floor drain, or approved drainage point so it flows away reliably.

The E070 uses a washable MERV 8 filter (upgradeable to MERV 11) that helps capture dust and airborne particles, and by lowering humidity it helps make the space less favorable for future mold, mildew, and musty-odor problems.
