3M™ 6001 Organic Vapor Cartridges are designed to help provide respiratory protection against certain organic vapors when used with compatible 3M™ reusable respirators. These cartridges are commonly used in crawl space and construction environments where vapors from sealants, adhesives, treatments, or strong odors may be present.

In simple terms: This cartridge helps reduce exposure to chemical vapors when attached to a compatible respirator.

Unlike particulate filters, the 6001 cartridge is intended for vapor protection only and does not provide particulate (dust) filtration on its own. For environments where both vapors and dust are present, this cartridge is often paired with compatible particulate pre-filters or combination cartridges.

Important Usage Information

This product is not a standalone respirator. The 3M™ 6001 cartridge must be used with a compatible 3M™ half-face or full-face reusable respirator (sold separately).
